This Privacy Policy describes how Better Home Studio ("Better Home Studio," the "Site," or "we") collects, uses, and discloses your Personal Information when you visit betterhomestudio.co, complete any of our forms, interact with our ads, or engage our services. Better Home Studio is a marketing studio that provides services to home improvement companies. Our work is organized into three stages: (1) branding, identity, and strategy; (2) creation of valuable content; and (3) growth, which includes paid advertising and sales scaling. As part of these services, we may collect and process information from both visitors to our Site and individuals who contact us or respond to our campaigns.
After reviewing this policy, if you have additional questions, want more information about our privacy practices, or would like to make a complaint, please contact us by email at hello@betterhomestudio.co.
When you visit the Site or interact with us, we collect certain information about your device, your interaction with the Site, and information necessary to handle your service request. We may also collect additional information if you contact us for support or sales inquiries, or if you respond to one of our ads. In this Privacy Policy, we refer to any information about an identifiable individual (including the information below) as "Personal Information."
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
We value your privacy and do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes other than our own. However, we may share your information with trusted service providers who help us operate our website, run our business, or serve you, provided that these parties agree to keep the information confidential. For example: We use Squarespace to host and operate our Site. With respect to the information we collect through the Site, Squarespace acts as our data processor (service provider) and processes it on our instructions. Read more here: https://www.squarespace.com/privacy. We use Meta (Facebook and Instagram) to run our advertising and, where applicable, to capture leads. See the section below for details. We may share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.
Better Home Studio operates text messaging (SMS/MMS) programs for its own business and on behalf of the brands and properties it markets, including Avila Mall (410-430 E Sample Rd, Pompano Beach, FL 33064) and ArtPanel USA (Miami, FL, nationwide distribution). This section applies to every one of those programs. We only send text messages to a mobile number after the owner of that number gives express written consent, either by checking an unchecked consent box on one of our web forms or by opting in through the chat widget on the relevant brand's page. Consent to receive text messages is never a condition of any purchase, lease, or service. Depending on the program, messages may include replies to your inquiry, appointment and tour scheduling, follow-up, and marketing or promotional messages about the products, services, or available space offered by the brand you contacted.
We use your Personal Information to show you ads or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you, and to measure and optimize our campaigns. Specifically: We run advertising campaigns on Meta's platforms (Facebook and Instagram). To do so, we use Meta tools such as the Meta pixel and lead-generation forms ("Instant Forms"). These tools let us show ads to people who have visited our Site or who are likely to be interested in our services (retargeting and lookalike audiences), measure results, and collect the information you submit when you complete a form within Facebook or Instagram. When you complete one of these forms, Meta shares with us the information you provided (for example, name, email address, and phone number). You can review Meta's Privacy Policy here: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/ and manage your ad preferences from the "Ad Preferences" section of your Meta account. If you do not have a Meta account, or you want to opt out of targeted advertising from multiple providers at once, you can use the opt-out platforms of the Network Advertising Initiative ("NAI") at https://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and the Digital Advertising Alliance at https://optout.aboutads.info/, as well as your mobile device's advertising settings.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Pursuant to the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), if you are a resident of the European Economic Area ("EEA"), we process your personal information under the following lawful bases:
If you are a resident of the EEA, you have the right to access the Personal Information we hold about you, to port it to a new service, and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or erased. To exercise these rights, please contact us using the contact information above. Your Personal Information may be processed and stored by our providers (such as Squarespace and Meta) outside of your country of residence, including in the United States. The entity responsible and the location of processing depend on your region; you can find the details in each provider's privacy policy linked above.
If you are a resident of California, you have the right to access the Personal Information we hold about you (also known as the "Right to Know"), to port it to a new service, and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or erased. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Please note that the use of advertising tools such as the Meta pixel may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information under the CCPA, even where no payment is involved. California residents may opt out of this sharing by contacting us at the email above or by adjusting their cookie preferences on our Site. To exercise these rights, or to designate an authorized agent to submit them on your behalf, please contact us at hello@betterhomestudio.co.
A cookie is a small amount of information that is downloaded to your computer or device when you visit our Site. We use a number of different cookies, including functional, performance, advertising, and social media or content cookies. Cookies improve your browsing experience by allowing the site to remember your actions and preferences, and they help us understand how the site is used. Because our Site runs on Squarespace, you can review the cookies it uses in the Squarespace Cookie Policy (https://www.squarespace.com/cookie-policy) and in Squarespace's list of cookies placed on visitors (https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001264507-The-cookies-Squarespace-uses). We also use third-party cookies and similar technologies from advertising tools such as the Meta pixel.
